Whilst the  SheepMaster has been developed with a mixture of different sheep breeds including: 

DAMARA - DORPER - KOJAK - EAST FRESIAN - VAN ROOY - ULTRA WHITE - FINN - WHITE SUFFOLK .

Much of the recent breeding of the last several years has seen improved development of flocks owing much of the greater influence from the Van Rooy & Suffolk however composite breeding and breed trials are common practice amongst most breeder's programs. 

Composite breeding is openly encouraged, allowing for the potential to diversify on the path to breeding not only better sheep but animals that a climatically correct for the environment.
